Different lip response between distalization and extraction plans.

Extraction or non-extraction?

Sometimes it is really hard to decide in mild crowding & protrusion case.

In this case, the initial profile is quite acceptable, but lip incompentce was noted after alignment.

We tried intrusive distalization by HPPG technique, but when we touch the anatomic limit behind L7, the patient still wanted to correct the soft tissue strain more.

After 5s extraction and carefully monitor the tooth show during reciprocal space closure, the patient is finally satisfied with the result.

拔不拔牙？在微亂微凸的案例常不容易決定，主要來自齒列後方的空間和解剖限制的不確定性。

此案例在初步排列微亂的齒列後，嘴唇不易閉合。

利用骨釘做全齒列後移後，嘴唇緊繃感得到改善，但如果需要進一步改善還是需要更多空間～

在拔除四顆小臼齒空間對關，在謹慎的控制露齒量下，患者對最後較為和諧的側臉外觀感到滿意～
